As many people visit NH during the fall, they often miss out on the opportunity to witness the beauty of this state during the springtime.

This is also the season that the state begins to revive its beauty after the winter freeze. 

More specifically, I would say that the best time to visit New Hampshire is between April and June. This is because the weather is usually at a comfortable temperature which makes it perfect for long nights in a hoodie.

Because the weather is neither too hot nor too cold, it makes it perfect for hiking and engaging in other outdoors activities also. 

Some exciting springtime activities that you can engage in include hiking, walking by stunning lakes, and visiting the breadth of beaches located across NH, prior to them becoming overly busy during the summer.

You can also comfortably road-trip throughout the state during the springtime and stop by some beautiful cabins on the way. 

With all of this being said, this state is still stunning irrespective of when you decide to visit it. I have outlined what you can do in New Hampshire during the different seasons below.

This small town feels like it has fallen out of a Hallmark movie, and provides all of the festive cheer that you could possibly desire.

If you are looking for a romantic, weekend getaway, then you should definitely book an idyllic cabin in the woods. This is perfect for those who are seeking intimacy in a stunning location. 

You should also definitely visit the many lakes and waterfalls across this state in order to fully absorb the breathtaking scenery in New Hampshire.

Some of these may require you to hike for a short time, but this is well worth it. The springtime boasts the best weather conditions to do this comfortably.

Visiting one of New Hampshire’s hundreds of Lakes is also another means of taking your breath away. You can cool off in luscious pools of water, or engage in kayaking activities across the lake. 

If you are thirsty, then you should definitely consider grabbing a pint of beer from a local bar or brewery. This is one of the best ways to indulge in New Hampshire during the summer season.

This will ensure that you will be able to see the leaves change color accordingly. 

Alternatively, you can become lost within a corn maze and get your nature fix that way! When you have finished, you should consider purchasing some fresh apple cider in order to support the corn maze farmers. 

Prior to Halloween, you can visit a New Hampshire pumpkin farm in order to select the best pumpkin for your family. This is the perfect activity for those with children.

Alternatively, if you have older children, then you should definitely pay a visit to one of the most haunted locations in the state.

Or, attend a ghost tour in order to visit all of the relevant historic, haunted locations in New Hampshire.
