True Brew Barista in Concord NH – A Great Place To Work and Grab a Beverage
One of my favorite places to work in downtown Concord is a little Cafe called True Brew Barista. They serve coffee and teas and offer a great meeting or work environment too. Of course they also serve beer which I find helps improve my productivity (wink, wink). 😉
Today I decided to go with the Full Clip IPA from Stoneface Brewing (based out of Newington NH). This is a 6.5% ABV beer and is delicious.
This juicy IPA has a hazy appearance with a light, malty backbone. English ale yeast imparts notes of peach, pear and pineapple, that are rounded out with a variety of American aroma hops. Hints of citrus and pine create a well-balanced, hop forward and slightly sweet IPA.
Anyway, I got some very productive laptop work between chit chatting with a bartender and a fellow True Brew Barista patron. This is a great little spot to work, socialize and they have live music some nights!

True Brew Barista started in 2008 out of Robert and Stephanie’s home. After their first Market Days it was evident that Downtown was the place for them and their Bicentennial Square location became their second home. Since opening in 2009 they’ve expanded several times and have taken over the whole down stairs of the McShane’s Block Building. In 2011 they added Beer and Liquor to their rapidly expanding menu. In 2012 they teamed up with Gibson’s Bookstore (see also ‘Best New Hampshire Bookstores‘) and opened their second location in the Love Your Neighbor building.
