Glen Ellis Family Campground

Glen Ellis Family Campground is located in a picturesque setting on Route 302 in the heart of the White Mountains. This campground spans across 65 acres of beautiful land. Glen Ellis campground is located between the Ellis and Saco rivers.  Due to its location it provides multiple riverside camping options for tents and tow behind trailers. This campground offers many options in and around it which makes it a top pick for families. Glen Ellis offers a playground for the kids with lots of great options on it including a baseball field, a basketball court, tennis courts, a splash pad, and even horseshoe pits.  

When weekends roll around Glen Ellis offers Karaoke and outdoor movies in their large pavilion. A unique activity Glenn Ellis offers is tubing down the river for a few miles and ending the river voyage right at the beach on the campground.  Another popular activity for Glenn Ellis campers involves the Northway Conway Train. Many campers place coins on the train tracks in hopes to get a flattened coin (don’t worry, you won’t derail the train).  You can see the North Conway Train going by several times a day at this campground. Fransted Family Campground

Nestled in the beautiful Franconia, New Hampshire, Fransted is a wonderful family  campground that offers access to some of the best fishing, hiking and outdoor activities in the White Mountains. Dolly Copp Campground

Dolly Copp Campground in Martin’s Location, NH (about 6 miles away from Gorham NH) is a NH campground you should see.  This campground is sprawling and fantastic! … The Daniel Webster Trail is right there!  This campground also features NH stream fishing and swimming.  There’s a mountain formation called the Little Imp you can view from one of the fields (looks like a face).  Dolly Copp was a real person and the campground carries their name.  People come from all over the world to visit this wonderful campground!

Tippicanoe Campground

Located on the shoreline of Rand Pond, a clean, sandy-bottom spring fed pond and enjoys a reputation far and wide as a great fishing destination. Tippicanoe Campground is Referred to as NH oldest campground which opened in 1911 and was a YMCA camp before being privately owned.  In addition to excellent fishing, our pond is also enjoyed by campers who appreciate clean,refreshing water for swimming and boating in canoes, kayaks, sailfish or small motor craft (under 10 hp).

Davidson’s Countryside Campground

This is another wonderful NH camping option.  Great for a camping experience in the Lakes Region.  This campground offers a private beach on the Pemigewasset River.  This wonderful NH campground is also not far from Winnipesaukee or Newfound Lake,.  At this campground you will also be in close proximity some of the best hiking that area provides.

Danforth Bay 

Spread over 185 Forested acres and a half-mile of lake frontage on Ossipee Lake.  With over 300 roomy sites Danforth Bay can accommodate any size recreation vehicle along with the smaller more private sites situated along a winding brook.  Danforth also offers guests ten camping cabins within the campground for those looking to enjoy camping without the tent. There is so much to do at Danforth Bay from sitting on the beach, fishing, boating, playing at the playground, swimming in the pools, biking, hiking the list can go on and best of all these are all offered within the campground along with tons of kids activities and shows throughout the week! Ashuelot River Campground

Ashuelot River Campground sits on the banks of the Ashuelot River in Swanzey, New Hampshire, between Keene and the mouth of the river. We have 22 acres of land with 3600 feet of riverfront, abutting a beautiful town forest, offering easy access to great biking on the Ashuelot Rail Trail, canoeing on the river; hiking trails of varying lengths, including Mount Monadnock which is one of the most climbed mountains in the world! There are also many local trails to walk and explore plus easy access to the city of Keene for shopping, sports, music events and other entertainment.  One of the cool attractions for this campground is that There are six covered bridges within easy reach of the campground. Bear Brook State Park offers a lot of great options. My family personally loves mountain biking there. There is also camping, swimming, hiking, archery and even fishing. There are forty miles of trails through the lush forests of Bear Brook State Park. Inside the forest you will find bogs, marshes, and ponds.

If you want to camp at Bear Brook State Park you have a couple of options. You can either stay at Beaver Pond which has 101 camp sites or you can stay at in the Cabins at Bear Hill Pond. At either location you can rent a boat and go in either of the ponds. You can also Fly Fish at Archery Pond. There is also a tiny little pond for kids under 12 to fish at.

Beaver Pond Campground – 600 Lower Road, Deerfield

Beaver Pond Campground has a lot of great things to offer. The amenities here include a great swimming beach, canoes available to rent, shower facility, a camp store, a dump station, firewood, and for the dog lovers reading you will be happy to know that this is a pet friendly campground.

Bear Hill Pond Cabins – 15 Bear Hill Pond Road, Deerfield

If you are lookin to stay in a Cabin instead then the Bear Hill Pond Cabins may be of interest. They offer two sizes of furnished cabins (they can fit 4 or 6 persons) are available for rent. Dogs are not allowed. There is a drop-off area and the cabins are walk-in. Come prepared because the cabins do not have electricity. If you choose to Bear Hill have easy access to the Hall Mountain trail network, a swimming beach, and non-motorized boating and fishing on Bear Hill Pond.

Lodges at Coleman State Park

The Lodges at Coleman State Park are an ideal destination for outdoor enthusiasts in New Hampshire’s Great North Woods region! Located in Stewartstown (twelve miles east of Colebrook), The Lodges have a wide variety of recreational opportunities available. The Lodges have direct trail access to the OHRV corridor system, snowmobile corridors (5 and 18 Ride the Wild) and is within walking distance to Little Diamond Pond for fishing and boating. The Lodges at Coleman State Park is an excellent base for snowmobiling, OHRV riding, fall hunting, hiking, canoeing, and snowshoeing.

The Lodges at Coleman State Park offers 4 lodge houses and a lodge room to choose from. Three of the houses can hold up to 8 people, one lodge house and the lodge room can hold up to 4 people. Lodge house amenities include: washer, dryer, gas fireplace, furnished living room, dining area, fully equipped kitchen, Keurig, and linens. Pets are not permitted in any of the lodges and there is a 2 night minimum to reserve.

Coleman State Park Campground

1166 Diamond Pond Rd, Stewartstown, NH 03597

On Little Diamond Pond, this 25 site campground offers an excellent base for fishing, kayaking, hunting, ATV camping and more. This is a pet friendly campground.

Crawford State Park Campground

Dry River Campground – 1464 US Route 302, Hunts Location, NH 03812

This 35-site campground is a woodland setting, located in the heart of Crawford Notch State Park. Flush toilets and showers are located in the campground. This is a pet friendly campground. 

Deer Mountain Campground

Deer Mountain Campground – 5309 North Main St, Pittsburg, NH 03592

Just south of the Canadian border, this 25 site primitive campground is located in Connecticut Lakes State Forest. This is a pet friendly campground.

Ellacoya State Park Campground

Ellacoya State Park – 266 Scenic Rd, Gilford, NH 03246

The 38 full hookup sites on the shore of Lake Winnipesauke offers mountain views. Tents are not allowed at the RV park. Pets are not allowed.

Franconia Notch State Park Campground – Cannon Mountain RV Park

Cannon Mountain RV Park – Route 3,  Franconia, NH 03580

Franconia Notch State Park campground is one of many RV campgrounds in New Hampshire. Located at the north end of Franconia Notch State Park, it offers 7 full-hookup campsites. The RV Park is open year-round with limited services. Pets are not allowed.

Franconia Notch State State Campground – Lafayette Place Campground

In the heart of Franconia Notch State Park, this 97 site wooded campground is open year round (no services mid-October through mid-May). It is a great base for hiking, biking and exploring the White Mountain region. 

Greenfield State Park Campground 

Greenfield State Park – 133 Beach Rd, Greenfield, NH 03047

Tucked away in this 400-acre park are ponds, bogs and a 252-site campground. The campground has a separate beach. This is a pet friendly campground. 

Hampton Beach RV Park

Hampton Beach State Park – Route 1A, Hampton, NH 03842
The only RV park directly on the New Hampshire coast at the mouth of the Hampton River. The park is located south of the main part of Hampton Beach on Route 1A at the Seabrook-Hampton town line. Route 1A can be easily reached from I-95 by either Route 101 or 286. Pets are not allowed.

Notice: As of August 23rd, 2017 dry camping sites 35-50 at Hampton Beach State Park will no longer be available to RV’s. This area will now be used to accommodate day use visitors to the park. We appreciate your understanding. Thank you.

Jericho Mountain State Park Campground

Jericho Mountain State Park – 298 Jericho Lake Road, Berlin, NH 03570

The campground has 20 primitive campsites, including 5 cabins, 6 tent sites and 9 RV sites, and offers only water and portable toilets this season. The campground connects to the 75 miles of OHRV trails at the park, a day-use area with a beach for swimming, pavilion and boat launch. Campsite fees will be $23/night and cabin fees are $50/night. This is a pet friendly campground.

Lake Francis State Park Campground

Lake Francis State Park – 439 River Road, Pittsburg, NH 03592

In the Great North Woods this lakefront park offers 45 sites for tent camping, ATV camping as well as some 2-way hookups. The park offers excellent base for fishing, wildlife viewing and kayaking. This is a pet friendly campground. 

Milan Hill State Park Campground

Milan Hill State Park – 72 Fire Tower Rd, Milan, NH 03588

With sweeping views of the White Mountains, mountains of Maine and Canada this park offers 10 campsites including 4 yurts for primitive camping. This is a pet friendly campground.

Mollidgewock State Park Campground

Mollidgewock State Park – 1437 Berlin Road, Errol, NH 03579

Located on NH Route 16, approximately 28 miles north of Berlin and three miles south of Errol, the campground is open for reservable stays from Memorial Day weekend through Columbus Day weekend. The primitive tenting campground offers campsites, including remote and canoe-to sites along the Androscoggin and Magalloway Rivers. Water and pit toilets are located in the campground. Wood and ice are offered for sale, and kayaks can be rented. Thirteen Mile Woods Scenic Area, in which the campground is located, is popular for watching moose and other wildlife. The nearby rivers are a favorite among picnickers, anglers, canoeists, and kayakers. This is a pet friendly campground.

Monadnock State Park Campground

Gilson Pond Campground – 116 Poole Road, Jaffrey, NH 03452

Gilson Pond Campground campground has 34 campsites for tents or pop-ups, 6 remote hike-to sites and new bathhouse and playground.  The campground at Monadnock headquarters offers youth group camping and is open year-round. Pets are not allowed.

Moose Brook State Park Campground

Moose Brook State Park – 30 Jimtown Road, Gorham, NH 03581

With 59 campsites, the park is ideally located for fishing in the Peabody and Moose rivers. There many trails in the park are great for exploring on foot or mountain bike. This is a pet friendly campground.

Mount Sunapee State Park Campground

Mount Sunapee State Park  – 86 Beach Access Road, Newbury, NH 03255

The campground has 10 campsites including 5 lean-tos and one platform site. The sites are wooded and are for tent camping.

Pawtuckaway State Park Campground

Pawtuckaway State Park – 40 Pawtuckaway Road, Nottingham, NH 03290

The campground offers 192 wooded campsites, many providing views of the lake. Each campsite has an open fireplace, picnic table, flat area for a tent, and a parking space. Running water, flush toilets, a camp store, boat launch, and canoe and kayak rentals are available. Showers are accessible 24 hours a day. Five cabins are available; each sleeps six people, has electricity, and includes a fire ring and picnic table. Pets are not allowed.

Pillsbury State Park Campground

Pillsbury State Park – 100 Pillsbury State Park Road, Washington, NH 03280

This 41 site primitive campground includes canoe-to and walk-in sites. The park is heavily wooded with several ponds and wetlands that offer a variety of wildlife. This is a pet friendly campground.

Umbagog Lake State Park Campground

Umbagog Lake State Park – 235 East Route 26, Cambridge, NH 03579
Campground offers 63 sites with tent and 2-way hookup sites, remote sites and cabins (3 cabins at base area and 4 remote cabins). Park is great for wildlife viewing. This is a pet friendly campground.

Ellis Camps: Cabin Rentals

Remote cabin rentals are now available within Umbagog Lake State Park! The Ellis camps offer 4 remote cabins rentals in the northwest section of Umbagog Lake. The cabins can hold 6 people, 4 people, or 3 people depending on which cabin is reserved. The cabins are all lake fronts and are boat in only.

White Lake State Park Campground

White Lake State Park  – 94 State Park Road, Tamworth, NH 03886

The 203-site campground is located on the shore of White Lake with some of the best swimming in the White Mountain region. Pets are not allowed.

They offer various camping experiences, such as primitive camping, cabin and yurt rentals, full-service RV hookups, and lean-to’s.
