The Canterbury Shaker Village is made up of 25 restored original Shaker buildings, 4 reconstructed Shaker buildings, and the land is protected by a permanent conservation easement.  Walking through the Village and into the beautifully-preserved building is very much like taking a walk back through time.

Nothing beats visiting NH in the Fall.  The NH Fall foliage is breathtaking on a nice Fall day.  Each building represents Shaker life from long ago and over the years and surrounded by the multitude of colors the Village is picturesque. The most lovely pond with beautiful trees in full fall colors is magnificent. Enjoying the lovely walking trails on a Fall day is the perfect time to visit the Village and the campus offers lots of places to sit and relax.
