Hooked Seafood Restaurant – Manchester

There are lots of great things to do in Manchester. It is the most populated city in New England and is rich with history, art and culture.

If you find yourself in the area then make sure you visit Hooked Seafood restaurant on Hanover Street. It is conveniently located for the big attractions so it will be easy to swing by.

It has a relaxed, casual atmosphere with cozy, marine themed decor. 

You can tuck into lots of seafood classics like fried calamari, mussels in a garlic and white wine sauce, pan seared sesame tuna, and a traditional New England lobster roll.

You can also get some more unusual dishes such as Costa Rican fish tacos, Haddock piccata (a tasty Italian dish) and blackened Mahi Mahi Reuben with swiss cheese.

If you have friends or family with you that don’t like seafood, there are lots of other options on the menu with chicken, beef, or even vegetarian options.

BG’s Boathouse Restaurant & Marina – Portsmouth

This restaurant is located right on the waterfront of Sagamore Creek. There is an outdoor seating area with beautiful views as well as plenty of indoor seating.

If you want to travel there by boat then there is a slip that you can use during your visit, but there is also plenty of parking available.

The restaurant was founded in 1978 and is a big hit with the locals who enjoy fresh seafood. 

The extensive menu is made up of appetizers, light bites, salads, dinners, lobster specials and some lovely desserts. You can enjoy classic dishes like clam chowder, lobster bisque and Maryland crab cakes.

Dig in to a seafood platter, golden fried oysters or stuffed haddock. Finish off with a slice of key lime pie or a chocolate mousse pie.

As well as the usual favorites, there are also special dishes making the most of whatever is in season, so be sure to ask your server about those when you visit. 

This family friendly restaurant is open Wednesday to Sunday from May through to the middle of October. Take in the stunning scenery and enjoy a relaxed evening at this wonderful restaurant. 

Surf Seafood – Nashua

If you are looking for a slightly more upmarket dining experience where excellent service is top of the agenda then make sure you check out Surf Seafood Restaurant on Main Street, Nashua.

Nashua is a popular city for people who love hiking and trekking, as the surrounding area has an extensive network of trails. It has also been named as one of the best places to live in America!

The food presentation at Surf is impressive without being pretentious. On the menu you can find appetizers like brie and bacon oysters, jalapeno and bacon wrapped scallops, and crispy shrimp steamed buns.

For your main course you can choose from salads, tacos, sandwiches and sushi.

There are also lots of other main dishes to choose from such as miso salmon, seafood ramen, Portuguese seafood stew, Korean BBQ scallops, and Tuscan shrimp linguini. 

The restaurant is closed on a Monday so make sure you plan ahead to avoid disappointment.

They also have a branch in Portsmouth that is open Wednesday through to Sunday, and a new restaurant due to open in Woburn. 

Windjammers – Rochester

If you are looking for a friendly, feel-good restaurant where the staff make you feel welcome as soon as you step through the door then make sure you visit Windjammers.

The relaxed atmosphere and excellent service will put you at ease so you can enjoy your hearty meal. 

The large menu has something for everyone.

You can start off your meal with clam chowder or coconut shrimp, move onto a main course of lobster tails, haddock, oysters or a New England Smelt dinner, or create your own half and half meal.

They also have a selection of pies, bakes and broiled seafood to choose from.

If you don’t fancy fish then there is a great selection of comforting meals such as chicken pot pie or traditional turkey dinner, as well as a range of sandwiches, wraps and pasta dishes. 

As well as their standard they have a ‘2 for $22’ menu, and meals for senior citizens that come with sides, a drink and dessert. 

Tuna Striker Pub – Seabrook

Seabrook is a beautiful coastal town with a stunning beach. This restaurant is on the harbor, which is close to the beach and has amazing views across the Black water river.

You can make the most of these views on the Tiki porch which is the perfect place to watch the sunset. 

Choose from a range of tasty meals like blue cheese mussels, fried calamari, grilled swordfish, seafood Thai green curry, or creamy seafood alfredo.

There is also a good selection of fried or baked seafood such as clams, shrimp, haddock, and lobster.

You could also go for a classic New England clam bake, or choose from a variety of handmade seafood sandwiches.
